I've not been able to stop thinking about this video for the last several days. It is amazing what humans are capable of...even without God. Just think of what we could do with Him...

ReplyDeleteWhat it brought to mind when you said "It's amazing what humans are capable of" is that God has given us amazing bodies and minds and a lot of times it is a cop-out to say "well... I'm going to pray about it" because Christians should realize that God has already answered a LOT of our prayers by giving us our brains. So much of the time we really know what the right thing to do is without asking--because he has already told us. (My mother--so I will remain anonymous so as not to hurt her feelings haha--I think likes to avoid facing uncomfortable situations so she will just hide behind the face of prayer.)
It's a difficult line between waiting for His guidance/will and having the faith to step out. We do tend to err on the side of caution too much though:)
